Part of my professional work is that of a property photographer for the numerous lettings available in my home county of Norfolk and it’s southern sister Suffolk. On this assignment I was in the heart of the Norfolk broads in a lovely spot beside the villages of Ludham and Horning called Hall Farm Cottages.
Hall farm is set in acres of farm land with superb views of the distinctive landscape of the Norfolk Broads. Having visited the cottages on the farm on several occasions it’s quite wonderful to look out over the fields from them and see not cars and lorries passing by in the distance but sailing boats, their sales gliding seemingly across the sedge and grass itself. The farm is an island of quietude and the small fishing lake thereon is an excellent example of a little spot to have a little walk around or simply sit a while, whilst butterflies and dragonflies busy themselves.
On this occasion I was photographing three holiday lets on the farm which needed some new photographs. I was keen to capitalise on the fine views available to visitors as already mentioned but also aimed to make more of the partially covered courtyard area to the back of some of the properties where a nice cup of tea could be enjoyed rain or shine. On the day of the shoot the sun shone brightly and the local birds made a great display against the sky, guests themselves and this little island of tranquility shone.
I hope you like a small sample of the photographs produced and if you would like some bright engaging images of your lettings please get in touch for a quote.
