Norfolk Polo Festival is an annual event based at Langley just south of Norwich. It’s a colourful and entertaining event based around the Polo game, and including great exhibitors, lots of entertainment and of course a VIP tent in which guests wine and dine this year catered for by the brilliant Brasted’s team.
Morton’s Event Hire asked me to attend the event to again photograph some of their hire equipment being put to good use in the VIP enclosure including a large marquee and portable conveniences. Where images are being used for not only web display but also brochure and specific material for blogging it’s important not only to photograph the products but in this case also the flavour of the event at which the marquee’s can be used. This allows PR companies or your own staff to paint the bigger picture about your business environment in addition to specific detailing.
I immersed myself in obtaining images of the marquee and conveniences being utilised in addition to a little of the action on the Polo field and the annual arrival of the East Anglian Air Ambulance which is the benefactor of the event’s fundraising. It was a great example of an assignment which is not only just about product and environmental photographs but also event photography which is essential to provide a good overview and illustrative photographs.
