Each year I take on more clients for my commercial photography and at the end of last year I was very pleased to work with Munnings Construction. Munnings required clean studio style headshots for their Norwich based staff photography for a new website design and I was asked to produce these for them based on a recommendation from the marketing company completing their website: Furthermore Marketing. After liaising with Munnings we decided on a date for the shoot and I attended their newly refurbished offices and training centre to set up my lights and background ready to produce the images required.
When producing good headshots its essential to have a few minutes with each person to put them at ease, allow them to relax as much as possible and to ultimately obtain a pleasing image that will present professionalism with a personable aspect. I usually supply at least two images of each person I photograph, often more, to give a little choice to the individual and company and to allow some exploration of different looks and angles to camera. I enjoy photographing people, I know this may sound bizarre but this makes a big difference in how I approach my work and means that I have plenty of patience, take care and hopefully provide a great experience for the client.
With a professional workflow I’m usually able to deliver images to clients quickly and efficiently. With a great multi-faceted download gallery being made available to my client that’s password protected, allows multiple parties to download images from the gallery and which can resize images directly making using photographs for web work and print work easy and efficient.
Hopefully these are just a few of the reasons that my commercial work continues to grow, drop me a line if you’d like a free quotation regarding your requirements for staff photography or business photography.
